The way players interact on the field and how the moment-to-moment Madden gameplay functions feels at home in this manner than it does attempting to simulate the actual game. I fully expect EA to continue to provide new content and things for The Yard during the following year in precisely the same way they do to Madden Ultimate Team. Regrettably, this means even less attention for the items that football fans may appreciate more.

EA talked a big game before this season about the way in which the Franchise style was important to them and they knew what the core Madden fanbase wanted out of them. They posted a site explaining their plans for Franchise mode with a few sample fixes that would be welcomed for sim fans but seemed like stuff that could have easily been patched to the show years ago. They've made similar promises in the past and in the last year, sim players waiting for meaningful franchise updates rather saw the release of neon-drenched crap like the Superstar KO style featuring star cameos.
