- Roman Blinds

- Venetian Blinds
Venetian blinds are classic and timeless, available in endless variations and styles. Some are made of metal, often aluminium, and some are made in hard wood or faux wood. If your budget for blinds/ shutters is somewhat limited, you might find that this is your best category.
- Roller Blinds
Roller blinds are also a great choice for tight blinds/ shutters budgets, and they are so easy to maintain. There is a remarkable variety of roller blinds out there, including black-out blinds.
- Vertical Blinds
A less common type of blinds/ shutters is the vertical blind. They are built on the same concept as venetian blinds, but they are vertical instead of horizontal.

Some blinds can also have linings for thermal or black-out effects. Blinds/ shutters can be used to regulate temperature as well as light levels, and with the use of thermal black-out fabric, a bedroom can remain pitch black and cool on a hot summer's day.
