Matthew Gray Gubler became popular in 2005 when he started working in a crime drama Television series “Criminal Minds' '. Michlael  portrayed the role of an extraordinary FBI’s criminal profiler Dr. Spencer Reid. There is a huge fan base of this fictional character called Spencer Reid. Everybody wants to become intelligent like him. In the show, Dr. Spencer Reid possesses the exceptional talent of reading 20,000 words per minute. With an IQ of 187, ths genius has a gift of eidetic memory which makes him perfect in his work. Despite being the youngest in the profession, Reid holds the three BAs and three Phds. Also, Reid has a specialization in Geographic profiling and statistics.  However, due to his difficult childhood memories, Reid is not very bright when it comes to socializing. Matthew belongs to a working class family living in Las Vegas, Nevada. His mother, Marilyn was a political advisor and father, John Gubler, was a lawyer. Very few people know this but Michael did not want to become an actor in the first place. Since childhood, he always dreamt of becoming a successful filmmaker. Because Las Vegas Academy of the Arts did not offer filmmaking, he had to study acting. Later, he went to NYU (New York University) Tisch School of Arts and earned a degree in direction.

Matthew is the man of many talents as he released a book Rumple Buttercup in 2019. Matthew wrote this 136 page book himself. He even drew all the pictures, barcodes mentioned in the book.
