Jesus was a man who reflected the Light of Christ. He reflected our actual being as the Christ, and the absolute most a human body can ever be, is a reflection of the mind.

Once the mind becomes pure and unified, it recognizes Itself as the Mind of Christ. When that Divine Mind is reflected in a human body, you've a reflection of the, but a reflection isn't actuality. acim Christ is a Light that is just before time.

How Can We Be Reborn In the Light of Christ Within?

We have to prevent protecting the crumbling ego self-concept, and expose and release the shame that is hidden in the mind. When you have been judged as a failure, you can now say, “Well, I failed before for sure. I was a failure before, but it isn't me. That is not me. I'm alive. I'm reborn again in Christ. I'm fresh and clean and clear in this moment, and I have nothing to do with the self concept.”

Forgiveness we can stop protecting the crumbling image that the ego made from us.

Whenever we are reborn in the Light of Christ, when we give all our relationships and everything of time and space over to the Holy Spirit for His purpose, everything changes.

Each is called, and the Course says that few elect to listen. Have you been planning to be quite happy with that metaphor of “few elect to listen”? Who's surely got to listen? I've surely got to listen. I've surely got to follow. I've surely got to be the main one! I've surely got to be the one that steps up, and says, “I'll answer the Call.” Like Neo in The Matrix became The One.

Jesus wants us to overlook the images of the world and to choose the Light. His goal is always to take us into the vision of Christ, which is non-perceptual, to be reborn and feel anew, fresh, and alive. He wants us to be that reflection of the Light of Christ that is shining radiantly within!
