I think about Animal Crossing Bells like we were a scattered deck of cards and once we finally got the heap together and all the hearts/diamonds/spades/clovers back together so we could serve as a whole... a person fucking came along and decided to play 52 card pick up.
God I despise the entire world lol. These individuals have really grown up being told that they are appropriate with their circles on the internet too and just start to embody it as real people in tasks now and when the real world does not match their Twitter bubble they freak the fuck out
There's a quotation a like but I do not recall who said it or when sadly and it goes something like"it's easier to convince a guy he is being fooled then it's to convince him he is the fool" and I think it's actually applicable here
Basically there is a demographic of people that are angry and possibly even rather intelligent (but very considerate ) who when faced by the reality of their own mistakes and failures instead decide that it's reality that's incorrect. Ego is a nightmare of a drug.Mark twain said"its easier to fool a guy than to convince him he has been duped." Not certain if that is what you are referring to. In any event It really is crazy the lengths people will go to rather than own up into some mistake.
One of my least favourite fucking things is that body positivity was appropriated by fat men and women who do not need to confront the truth and shed the weight, instead of being used to help people with missing limbs, surgical scars, and skin conditions.Or even: be optimistic about your fat body. I really don't fucking care. It's likely a more enjoyable way to survive than being fat and negative about it and equally cheap Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells not doing anything about it (ie. What I am doing).
