Combat Is Quite similar to PSO2's current combat system, right down to the weapons, Photon Arts and Photon Blasts. It is just quicker, more portable and smoother. There are no longer Perfect Attacks; rather, it's more like modern action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and blocking is liquid for many classes also. Certain classes may see a difference in drama. There's no longer attacking in the atmosphere indefinitely, therefore expect to be on the ground more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are setup the exact same manner they're now with specific buttons performing specific strikes or the 1-2-3 system. As far as PB's go, because Mag's won't be part of gameplay , they behave more like Sophisticated Photon Arts, that have been introduced in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. As opposed to summoning a creature, PB's will rather be a massive attack dealing serious damage that needs to be recharged through battle.

Of the three classes they revealed, Force had some of the biggest changes. They now have a block similar to Hunters on top of their dodge, and it can be a much-needed addition since they may be delicate and slowed down by Technique charging. Techniques also have gotten better because they no longer need to get billed to use. They finally have an uncharged strike which, while not as strong as the billed variant, still does some fantastic damage.

Another great change is that healing items can be used on the fly. No more getting stuck in a beverage animation trying to cure only to be promptly smacked and shed it all without a thing you can do about it. Healing will happen instantaneously in NG at the same time you do more important things, such as dodging. Overall, the combat is getting a much-needed upgrade whilst still feeling perfectly comfortable.

In Episode 5, after the aid of these on Earth, players discover a mysterious portal that leads to another dimension, called"Omega." This world appears driven purely by fantasy, a world of swords and magic rather than science and technology. Both worlds are in direct comparison with one another, and as the story progresses, players will often move between them while observing the strange similarities these worlds discuss. Simultaneously, a mysterious girl who calls herself"Alma" appears, and she appears to get advice about Omega and--strangely--about ARKS.

Episode 5 attracts a great deal of new content and features such as raising the participant level limit to 90, fresh ARKS assignments and areas to explore, new enemy types, fresh pursuit types with fresh rewards, new seasonal events, new Alliance Quarters, and much more. Photon Art and Strategy levels will increase, and added Photon Art, Techniques, and Battle Arena weapons will probably be added.
