Hello Everyone. Here is my guide on how you can earn money and improve your skills. I am aware that there is an RuneScape gold easier method to earn money, Merchanting however, since the most recent version of the trade value equaler it's been extremely difficult to become a merchant. You may not have the time to make a sale (like I do), but you want to improve your skills and make money. If you are one of these people, this guide is for YOU! These are the prices I used for this guide.
How to Make Money With This skill! Woodcutting is a fairly useful and simple skill. Although you will not make a huge profits if you're at a low skill level, you could make more money if you have an upper level. When you have an upper level in the skill, you'll be able to trim Mahogany, Yews, and Magic trees close to. These are the figures you could expect to earn when you trim the three kinds of trees: Mahogany: 170 coins per each log, 4,760 coins to stock your inventory.
Fishing is a well-known ability that can earn you a lot of money. It requires patience and a lot of it. Like with Woodcutting you require an upper lvl in order to make plenty of cash (40+). Lobster and swordfish are the two main ingredients that allow fishing to be profitable. If you are a member at level 76, you are able to catch sharks. Sharks are approximately 1.1k each. This is equal to 30.8k per inventory. Sharks are simple to catch. All you need is a Catherby character and a Harpoon. In the end, fishing can bring you a big gain if you have the patience to do it. Note: Manta Rays have been left out of my list due to the fact that they are difficult to catch and are only available in the form of a minigame.
It's a fun however, not a very lucrative skill. Smithing is basically when you transform bars into objects. Selling the bars is better than making something with them. Five rune bars are needed to make a runeplatebody. Each bar will cost approximately 17k. You will spend 85k on the platebody if you multiply 17x5 = 85. The bad news is that a Rune Platebody can cost about 60k. This basically means you've just lost 25k. If you don't wish to lose money, do not make a forge.
Do you think that forging was the only thing that can be done with Smithing? But it's not! There is also a part called Smelting. Smelting is the process that transform ores into bars and the most appealing aspect is that it's hugely profitable. To smelt, for instance, a steel bar you need 1 iron and 2 coal ores. Iron is 100 coins, and coal is 178 coins. You would need to buy OSRS gold mine 1 iron and two coals to make 1 bar. However, if you were selling ores, you'd get 456 coins. If you could melt them, you'd receive about 163 coins extra. Steel bars are 619 coins.
