Dark Matter and Galaxy Opal were the most popular MyTeam cards in NBA 2K21. NBA 2K22 MT will feature Holo Cards as well as professional grades.

In addition, bronze and silver cards are being removed from the MyTeam mode.

2K22 is a video game that was released in 1992. MyTeam Holo Cards - Defin 2K explained the new MyTeam Holo Card feature as follows in the Courtside Report, which was published on Thursday:

What are the rarest cards in the MyTEAM collection? In Cheapest NBA 2K22 MT, this could be a Galaxy Opal Stephen Curry or a Dark Matter LeBron James. When opened from the Pack Market, every auction-able Player Card in MyTEAM can transform into a Holo. When it comes to online gaming, these uncommon variants are the ultimate flex in your collection. Some agendas and line-up rules, on the other hand, may impose the use of these uncommon and exceptional cards. So keep an eye out for Holo versions of your favorite players when you're sniping!

That is, Holo Cards are not a replacement for Dark Matter or Galaxy Opals, but rather, they are potentially more valuable versions of these essential items. According to the description, certain activities will include generous rewards that can only be matched by Holo versions of specific cards.

Though the scavenger hunt concept is intriguing, I am skeptical about the specifics. How difficult do you think it would be to find Holo cards and complete these challenges?

The answer to one or both of those questions may determine how much you enjoy this new MyTeam feature.

Explanation of NBA 2K22 MyTeam's Graded Cards

Based on this explanation of professionally graded cards, I'm not sure if this is fantastic or not.

What if you wanted something more from your lineup cards? You can now have your MyTEAM Player Cards properly graded! After meticulously grading each card, our specialists will return your Player Cards to you, sealed and graded. The highest possible grade is 10, but every graded card returns to your lineup with Bonus MTP. Are you earning MTP with graded cards in your daily Pick-Up Challenge? Only auction-able Player Cards can be graded, so keep an eye out for auction listings that feature community-graded Player Cards.

There were a lot of questions for this feature. What distinguishes a professionally graded playing card? Is the card ineffective during the test? This feature appears to necessitate additional training, as the majority of it is confusing.

MyTeam will not receive any Bronze or Silver cards in 2K22.

I'm apprehensive about removing bronze and silver cards. Is it more likely that we'll see less balance if we remove the bottom tier cards from the mode, or less?

This year, Bronze and Silver Player Cards are no longer available in MyTEAM. All players are now Gold tier or higher, and all gems from previous years have been restored. Some of you may be wondering about the players who have been designated as MyTEAM Base Set. These are not fictitious player cards for the purpose of this Courtside Report; rather, they are the Base Set of MyTEAM for the new year! If you can't wait for the NBA season to begin, you can put together a team that includes Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, and even Yao Ming! Yes, the majority of the sport's all-time greats are represented in MyTEAM's Base Set, and they are all available to be played by anyone! There are 45 Dynamic Duos to begin the season, one for each club, plus an additional 15 that travel between locker rooms to visit other teams.

While 2K provided a plethora of information on the MyTeam mode, many of the revelations raised even more questions. To be honest, with the game releasing on September 10th, I'm not sure there will be enough time to get answers.
