The Super Bowl 55 MVP is getting paid.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday that Cooper Kupp has agreed to a three-year contract extension that will keep him with the Rams for the next five seasons. Kupp joins other star NFL receivers Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams and A.J. Brown in signing ma sive contract extensions this offseason.

Kupp had a historic 2021 season. He won the receiver triple crown by leading the league in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and receiving touchdowns (16) New Orleans Saints Jerseys . He then compiled 625 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 45 receptions in the playoffs, including the game-winning, fourth-quarter touchdown grab in the Super Bowl against the Bengals.

According to The MMQB's Albert Breer, the extension restructured the last two years of Kupp's existing deal, increasing the value over those seasons.

Adams will receive the most money during the length of his deal, while Hill's Dolphins contract has the highest average annual value.

Kupp's deal will make him, for now, one of the five highest-paid receivers in the NFL in terms of average annual value.

Hill and Adams have the two largest contracts in terms of AAV, and DeAndre Hopkins is third at $27.25 million.

By total value, Kupp's contract is the ninth-largest over the length of the extension, but his $75 million guarantee is the largest for a wide receiver.
