Kealia Ohai was traded from the Houston Dash to theChicago Red Stars on Monday after six seasons with the team. Ohai isengaged to Texans star J.J. Watt, and that led some in the Red Schoendienst Jersey media to frame the story in an odd way.

News station ABC 13 in Houston sent out a tweet announcing the news with the phrasing: "Houston Dash trade J.J. Watt's fiancee to Chicago." The tweet was criticized by Paul Goldschmidt Jersey many, and eventually made its way to Watt who quote-tweeted it and called the headline "trash."

This headline is trash.Kealia Ohai (which is her name by the way, since you didnt even bother to mention it) is incredible entirely on her own merit and deserves to be treated as such.Be better than this.

As Watt points out, the tweet doesn'tmention her name. ABC 13 was likely going for an SEO play as Watt is a highly searched player, especially with the Texans still being alive in the playoffs. But this is a questionable approachwith a story like this.

As for the trade itself, it's a big move, as Ohai was a star for the Dash. She was thesecond overall pick in the 2014 NWSL Draft, selected by Houston, and has spent her career with the team. Ohai was a team captain over the past three seasons and ownsthe club record for goals scored (28).

In 2016 she was named to the NWSL Best XI team, and her impre sive season led to a call up to the United States Women's National Soccer Team. She didn't make the final roster, but did spend time in training camp with the USWNT.
