I have personally always been a small coward when it comes to RS gold the. When I first started playing with it was several years ago back in college and it had been with a bunch of friends so of course people understood I played. This was also roughly around the time we started making friends with women and I'm sure that affected a number of my friends to stop. It was about then really I discovered Sal's and combined to be able to preserve some sort of social facet however so it was not all bad.

After quitting RS an old flatmate of mine really got me in to WoW which I've played on and off for a few years now. Like my key RS days it's not something I've ever told my friends. They're not terrible people (despite how I am making them seems ) and wouldn't ostracise me anything but there will definitely be a lot of jokes created.

I agree with your remarks about it'simply being a different video game' however we can not forget that in real life there is always likely to be more of a stigma attached to multiplayer online gaming especially RPGs and people of the fantasy genre than state CoD or Battlefield.

That I had a couple of friends who made me feel like that. But they were far from'ideal' themselves. I finally have a girlfriend who I love and live together and she knows I perform, she even plays her f2p accounts once in a while. I found that in the later teenage years it was taboo to allow folks know you played with (few kids would play in my programming courses plus they got flamed A LOT from the other pupils and even the instructor.) But now it sounds a bit more suitable for some reason, I am not sure whether it's to do with my getting older or the maturity of the others.

Abyssal Whip-Probably my favourite weapon of all time. For starters it was the best weapon in the game far until 2008 or so, and even before EoC it was one of the very best. Before it's special attack was nerfed it also had one of the finest special attacks in the game too (special strike was you hit your maximum or you hit zero). I got my first one when I was level 77 and that I was so proud of myself. Crystal Bow-I used to like this one a great deal, probably because it's powerful and uses no ammo (it had been the first ranged weapon to use no ammo for a very long time). Kharil's Crossbow-I had one of these back in the afternoon and it was a substantial improvement over a magical shortbow. Again this was enjoyable to buy RuneScape gold use in Castle Wars, unfortunately the ammo was too expensive and unrecoverable.
