After you've completed the main questline in the first continent in Lost Ark Gold, you receive an ship. From there you're free to explore the seas in any direction you'd like. However, prior to deciding to set sail to the nearest island, make sure you complete your blue World Quest on Tortoyk (northeast of Luterra) first. This will aid in getting up to item level 250 which is the most recommended level for the first Lost Ark islands.
After you're finished when you're ready, hover over the islands on the map. You'll be able to see the recommended item level in addition to the number of Mokoko seed, the combat kind (PvE or PvP) as well as whether or not you've gotten or not acquired the Island Soul. You'll also see how long it takes to get into the island. In light of that, we can fairly classify Lost Ark islands into four kinds:
Permanent islands of PvE. This is the most commonly used type. just visit them whenever you wish to.
Time-limited islands. The only way to access these islands at certain time periods. Click on the island's name to see the schedule.
PvP islands. They're usually available on a permanent basis or scheduled to become available, but there's always PvP in these areas. Be sure to recognize them by the cross swords icon they have across the map.
Adventure islands. Special co-op activities that are held just a few times per day.
So, you've arrived at your very first tiny island. What's next? Even though every Lost Ark island is unique it is typical for them to open their doors to one or more of the following activities:
Complete quests. Sometimes it's obvious to see an exclamation mark on the map but quests can be hidden.
Visit merchants and NPCs. Numerous islands house traders and NPCs. They come with special rewards of their own So don't leave until you've taken a look.
Collect cheap Lost Ark Gold Seeds. Yes, you'll find the small bugs located on Lost Ark islands as well. Since the maps are small the islands usually have between two and five Seeds per island.
