The most recent D2R Items cinematic trailer from Blizzard has Inarius confronting Lilith with armies on both sides. Although this trailer does not show Tyrael's direct involvement, the invention of Horadrim and his involvement with the various Paladins of Sanctuary suggests that he's involved. Light and dark clash on the battlefield and the now-dead Tyrael can be found somewhere in the middle.

It is likely his presence will be felt through these intermediaries unless circumstances make him a victim. Tyrael still feels the repercussions of destroying the Worldstone at the end of Diablo 2. The mysterious artifact defended Sanctuary from Heaven and Hell, and he now acts as a protector for the land as its successor. Tyrael seems unlikely to lead any further charges into Hell or go much farther that what is known as the Pandemonium Fortress, where he may offer advice like Deckard Cain for people who remain and listen.

Five Diablo playable classes have been revealed so far They all are variations on the options offered in previous games. Since each game has offered something new, perhaps Tyrael will become an active participant in the fight in the battle, helping to balance the sides by giving players the chance to summon angelic or demonic powers to perform duties to Sanctuary. This type of mechanic could very easily build on the multi-tree advancement already in the game.

It's doubtful that Blizzard plans to create Angels or Demons into classes, given that the franchise is focused on the people who are caught between the two. As the one who is who is caught between Heaven and Hell Tyrael finds himself in a unique position in all of Diablo story. He is more likely to be an equalizer throughout the story, and maybe even the voice of reason instead of embracing the side he once did. Even when he is forced to take the side of his opponent, Tyrael has come to understand his role as a mortals. That is buy diablo 2 resurrected items the way he is likely to participate in the events of Diablo 4.
