Newest players invest nearly no time at the GE. And most of these scam robots are targeting high level gamers with Animal Crossing Bells dumb brain or pot brain. "Omg I can sell my tbow to this guy for 20% over market price right next to the automatic marketplace he could only purchase it from" rather dumb.

Don't get me wrong, I really do concur that this is an issue that will turn away some fresh players. But every MMO in the history of ever has issues with stuff like this. It is especially acute at the GE and perhaps worse than some other games, but"2b for?" And"assess the youtube link to win 50m" is far less of a concern compared to literal UI of this game.

Repair the problem, but I would argue that this is a larger problem for established players than it is for the novices who successfully dodged the Dark Wizards and have 15k total value within their accounts.

I will say from experience I haven't stayed on games which advertise RWT the way it is on OSRS. The only real reason I play is because I have been playing. However, for a new player this is not what they need to see.

I think at this stage among the buy Animal Crossing Items one thing they could do about bots and gold sellers would be to ban the golden buyers. Those buyers are the sole reason they exist and unlike bot farms that they invest time in their personality and will not wish to take any greater risk.
