What exactly is Klondike Solitaire?

Solitaire "Klondike" is one of the most popular Solitaire variants in the world. This is a one-player game that uses a standard 52-card deck.

What is the best way to play this game? The cards are dealt in seven columns known as scoreboards. There is one card in the first column, two in the second, and so on until there are seven cards in the seventh column. The top card in each column is turned face up, while the rest are turned face down. The remaining cards are arranged face down in a single pile known as a deck or discard.

Move the aces from the scoreboard to the base by clicking or dragging the card.

Arrange the cards in descending order of dignity (queen to king, 9 to 10, etc.). The cards' colours should be alternated (red to black / black to red).

You can move all or a portion of one column of cards on the scoreboard to another card. For instance, an 8 tambourine and all of the cards beneath it change from 9 spades to 9 clubs.

Any king (and any cards attached to it) can be moved to an empty spot on the scoreboard. Reset kings can be moved in the same way. Only in these locations can the king be placed.

If you've exhausted your moves, you can take one card from the discard pile. When the cards are depleted, you can use them as many times as you want. It's difficult enough to win without reusing the deck! (In the settings, select "Take 3" mode.)

In order of increasing dignity, complete all of the bases in accordance with the suits. (aces, twos, threes, and so on to the king) to win. As soon as you open all of the cards in the scoreboard, click "Auto win" to quickly move all of the cards to the base!

How to Play Klondike Solitaire?

The goal of Klondike solitaire is to arrange a 52-card deck into four suited piles, with the suit's ace at the top and the king at the bottom.

To accomplish this, you must move cards into the proper position, discarding unwanted cards in the waste pile.

When playing Klondike solitaire online, move your cards as follows:

Stack solitaire cards from ace to king, suit by suit, on the foundation piles. Each foundation has a unique suit.

Cards on the table can be placed on cards that are one higher and the opposite colour to them. You can move multiple cards at once as long as the group is in descending order and alternating colour.

On empty columns, only kings or sequential groups with a king at the top can be placed.

Depending on how you choose to begin, cards are dealt from the reserve to the waste one or three at a time.

The top card on the waste can be played to the table or the foundations.

Now that you know how to play solitaire, you just need to decide whether to waste one or three cards at a time — classic Klondike solitaire deals three cards at a time, but one card is easier for beginners.
