Grinding Gear Games has announced the next update for Path of Exile, available to the public. Fans have previously been waiting for the update, most notably the endgame overhaul it was supposed to include.

The update will also add all new items, gems and POE Exalted Orb to the game. This will add a whole new dimension to the game and make the gameplay even more engaging. But exact details on the update, other than patch notes, are still scarce. That said, we've been able to piece together some of the most significant changes and additions, and what they mean for gamers.

From what Grinding Gear Games has revealed so far, it looks like players will be teaming up with Kirac in Siege of the Atlas to make it through the endgame map. As they do, two new Eldritch horrors will join Uber Elder and The Maven in their invasion of Atlas. Those new horrors known as the Searing Bishop and Eater of Worlds will give players some new abilities with the help of The Maven.

It's also important to note that new bosses drop a new set of unique items as well as new forms of POE Currency. Players can also swipe keys through maps at level 14 and higher, which offer the chance to fight new horrors once again. Keys are also transferable, so players can buy and sell them like other game items. Or you can Buy POE Currency on POECurrency to get more items.

Because the new Eldritch Implicit Mods replace the old system, they apply to existing gear as-is. This means gear is upgraded from where it was before the update, allowing for powerful new gear for endgames. And according to details shared by Grinding Gear Games so far, each item can have implicits from each boss, for a total of four simultaneous mods.
