The Morytania Tasks contain tasks that can be accomplished by low, medium, and high level players.
What to wear is for you to decide on your own judgment. It is not necessary to wear armour in certain situations that involve combat. However, it may be needed for low-level people who need protection against common creatures in the area. Armour and weapons are required when you intend to fight against a monster. Lightweight clothing is recommended if you don't plan on fighting or are in a safe place. (For more details on monster fighting, check out the guides we have in our Monster Hunting guides.)
Jagex generally permits players to make use of stat-boosting products like pie and potions ale, pies, or Evil Dave's stew to boost their stats to accomplish the task. However, player assists do not perform.
You will find six tasks which are recommended by the Morytania region on the menu for tasks. Click Open Task List to view the entire task list. If you click the task that you want to work on, it will bring up additional details about the task. This guide lists all the tasks.
Each time you finish the task, you'll receive a notification at the top of the central portion of your window stating that you've completed a task. You'll find a small mark next to each of the tasks that you have completed when you go to the Task List interface. A lock appears in the middle of tasks if you don't have the requirements required. After you've completed all tasks in this region or you do not have requirements for any of the additional tasks, minigames will appear in the list of tasks.
You can complete the task at any level (Easy to Medium or Hard to Elite) you choose.
Runefest 2019 is just over it's been a while since Runefest 2019 took place, and RuneScape is abuzz with excitement regarding new information about Jagex's 2020 plans. The most significant announcement is the fact that OSRS will be expanded with the Morytania update. It will include a brand new city zone, new skill quests, and of course plenty of questing content. The Morytania expansion will release sometime around the beginning of 2020, but an exact release date is not yet announced.
This storyline is set to take players to a strange new world to discover the vampire city of Darkmeyer and unravel its mysteries. There will be tons of sidequests, battles, and brand new challenges to be found in the region. The developer is keeping things quiet, which means we'll need to discover the dark depths ourselves. The high-end side-games like a new agility race are in the works as a sure addition for veteran players. However, a new world of riches and battle isn't the only thing they've got planned for 2019 and beyond.
New Expansions, New Lands, and Many More
RuneFest announced the expansion this year. Jagex is also working on other ideas for OSRS in the future. The developer will also introduce a Clan system, which will allow players to join forces for questing. Clans that have up to 500 members can organize their own events, keep track of the progress of their clans on various tasks, and compete with other clans to win the title of best player group.
It's clear that Jagex will do more in the future with this feature I can't wait to see what new ideas they have for large-scale PvP.
RuneScape which is the mainline version will receive some improvements as well. The game's main feature will be a new skill called Archaeology. This skill allows you to locate archaeological sites across the world , and then use them to unlock new gear which imitates ancient weapons or artifacts. And you'll need this new gear, and the help from a number of other players, to take on the Nightmare of Ashihama, a new group boss that is coming to the game in the coming year.
Developer is adding new quests into the RPG, such as the Sins of the Father series. This will add new story aspects to the RPG. This is an expansion of the Taste of Hope storyline, that traces the development and decline of specific in-game factions. Land Out of Time is expanding. Ranch Out of Time allows players to raise dinosaurs today. This patch will also raise the level cap on the Farming and Herblore skills, which is now at 120.
In one final tidbit, Jagex also confirmed that RuneScape mobile will go through its first test phase open to the public later this year. Runescape mobile will have cross-platform play, offering anyone who is a subscriber active the chance to play the game on the go. In addition the mobile version will have access to the new Darkmeyer area.
