After the two-week community celebration The rebuilt area will be called Het's Oasis A place of learning and exploration that will feature new skills-related material for those wanting to enhance their Agility, Hunter and Farming skills with OSRS Gold.
"Heroes are also able to assist the God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they delve into Het's Tomb in search of an enthralling object that will help the young gods as part of the Elder God Wars saga," the press release states.
In a brand new event that starts now and runs until December 3, 2022, players will have the chance to receive a brand new version of the classic "Partyhat" the accessory that was initially offered during a Christmas celebration way back in 2001. The original versions were available in red blue, green, yellow or purple The RuneScape "The Golden Party Hat Hunt" quest will allow players to gain access to one of the most sought-after cosmetics with a metallic shimmer.
As the partyhats were originally only available in limited numbers for a limited time, and are now no longer available anyone lucky enough to have one can sell them for billions of in-game coins. Although the hats appear to be solely decorative and don't offer stat bonuses, they are today the most costly item listed on Grand Exchange, hitting the maximum value of 2.1billion gold in 2015.
For a chance to own head-on-heads in the Golden Party Hat, players must complete "various goals" and earn eight gold shreds for their efforts. After all eight have been collected, they can be used to create the Golden Party Hat.
But not only is the event limited in time however, only one golden hat will be made for each player. Similar to their predecessors in 2001, Jagex states of the golden caps that "after the cut-off time the golden hats will not be earned again!"
Whether the new item interrupts the in-game economy or lowers the value of existing partyhats or is an entirely new and even more premium item remains to be determined. Jagex will be celebrating the event in the same way but will be transforming the game's Grand Exchange location into "a Golden Party Hat winter wonderland".
The golden hat marks the final event (sorry) to RuneScape's year-long celebrations of the 20th anniversary. Launching alongside the returning partyhat event, this is the fourth and final phase of the anniversary adventure, Once Upon a Time, that runs throughout the time.
Appropriately named Finale The chapter is described as "the end of the adventure that examines Cheap RS Gold's history, presentand future, and ends the story's journey to the end for Relomia the quest's antagonist."
