For die casting practitioners, the phenomenon of a mold sticking in aluminum die casting has always been a source of concern.  Casting practitioners can improve the stickyzinc die castingof their castings in several ways, as demonstrated in this article. . Die casting practitioners must take all necessary precautions beginning with the design of the die casting process, through die surface treatment production and maintenance, and on to die casting production process control, in order to minimize and control the incidence of a sticky die during the casting process's execution.

Many casting defects, such as cold shut, lack of material, internal porosity and leakage caused by the failure of the surface dense layer, and others, will be directly exacerbated as a result of the sticky mold's sticky surface layer.  To minimize and control the incidence of sticky dies, die casting practitioners must take all necessary precautions beginning with the design of the die casting process, die surface treatment production and maintenance, and die casting production process control, among other measures.  Here are five tips for making die castings less sticky in the mold.

1.  Modify the parameters of the die casting process.
When it comes to the sticky mold, process parameters such as pressure and speed are extremely important.  Other factors to consider include alloy temperature during pouring, mold temperature during casting, and other factors.  Therefore, the most appropriate process parameters should be calculated according to the structure and use requirements of the casting, among other things.

Aluminum Alloy Mold Temperature Control (Step 3)
As a result, it is much easier to produce sticky molds at higheralloy die casting companytemperatures.  The actual production process can make use of infrared thermometers to detect mold sticking parts and control theprecision die casting suppliertemperature between 150°C and 220°C so that the mold achieves thermal equilibrium, as shown in the figure below. 610 °C to 680 °C is used as a minimum casting temperature for aluminum alloy, depending on the casting requirements.  This lowers the risk ofdie casting defects causes and solutionssticking and helps prevent sticky molds from forming.

Surface Preparation for Mold Growth
It is possible to prevent the occurrence of sticky molds by using certain surface treatment methods.  The surface of thezinc alloy die castingshould be treated with special materials that have higher melting points.  VariousChina die casting manufacturer can be used to treat the surface of the mold to prevent the formation of sticky molds, as well as to improve the surface of the mold itself.  It is possible to reduce the activity of the mold surface in order to avoid sticking the mold in a number of ways, including by increasing the hardness of the material when heated to a high temperature.

Finally, there are a couple of steps left.
Adapt the spraying position and amount; check the hardness value of the mold; apply heat treatment and nitridation or replace the mold material; reduce the injection speed as needed; increase the mold cooling; increase the spraying on the overheated position; and apply the installation of a cooling system, among other things.
