Tyrael is able to keep his mortal body, but then joins his angelic brethren to become his Aspect Justice and Diablo IV Gold of Wisdom. Diablo 3 ends with him looking to see if his new mortal counterpart, who could be corrupted, could one day become the next menace in Heaven, Hell, and Sanctuary as well as the very existence of life itself.
