The Tax Consultants are several entrance pathways to the CGA-PAKISTAN certificate, and you need not
need a business degree to pursue a career in accounting.
Holders of completed recognized credentials (postgraduate, honors degree, ordinary
degree, certificate, accounting technician, accounting practitioner, and so on) may be eligible for
exemptions from the CGA-PAKISTAN tests.
Practitioner, Professional, three case studies, a prerequisite for fully integrated practical
experience, and Practitioner. A customized assessment of your past education and experience will
decide your entry point into the CGA-PAKISTAN Program.
All exemptions are given case-by-case to applicants with a qualification recognized by
CGA-PAKISTAN for exemption purposes. Pass marks must have been obtained in the applicable
topic assessment. Passes obtained through pay or that have already been exempted are ineligible.
The Tax Consultants who qualify for exam exemptions
If you fit any of the above descriptions:
* Are you a graduate with a qualification from one of the CGA-PAKISTAN-authorised programs or
universities?
* Have successfully completed a degree programme that adheres to the CGA-PAKISTAN curriculum.
* A BBA, BBA Hons, Bcom, MBA, or Master's in Accounting from a reputable local or foreign
university is required.
* Expert Tax Consulting current or former members of the accounting organisations ICWAI or ICAP, ICMAP, ICAI,
ICPAI, AICPA, and so on.
* Are you enrolled in or have you finished a relevant qualification through another professional
organization?
The following qualifications are accepted for direct membership by the Institute of Certified General
Accountants (CGA-PAKISTAN) Executive Council. A member of one of the professional accounting
bodies listed below, as well as three (3) years of relevant job experience.
1. Pakistan Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAP)
2. Pakistan Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMAP)
* The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
1. Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) in the United Kingdom.
2. The Institute of chartered Accountants in Wales and European country
3. The Chartered Certified Accountants Association (U.K).
* The Certified Public Accountants of Ireland.
* The hired Institute of Public Finance and business (CIPFA) within the uk (AIA)
1. First International Association of Accountants (CPAI)
2. The Chartered Accountants of Canada (CICA) (CICA)
3. any representative on a chartered accountant's body.
* Member of any IFAC member organization.
* Any additional reputable national or worldwide accounting authority.
HND, a BSc or BBA, an MBA, or an MSc in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Financial Management,
or Business Administration from any reputable local or international university
General Accountant, Auditor-General, Director of Finance & Supply, Manager of Finance, Head of
Expert Tax Consulting Department, Head of Department of Federal, State, Provincial, and Local Government, or any
other highly-ranking administrative and financial position.
